Jason started out producing the first ever Degree Show CD-Rom. He's since won Gold and Silver Epica and World Media Festival awards, a Marketing Design Award, several IPPA Awards, BIMA, had three D&AD Annual appearances and most recently an IMA Award for Outstanding Achievement. It's unlikely he'd ever tell you though; Jay is the most grounded creative in the business, working directly with clients and spending most of his time getting his hands dirty.
I'm Felix (silly beard, shaven head)
I started my first digital agency in 1994 and I've written for lots of magazines from Campaign and New Media Age to the FT, ReputationOnline and Admap. I give talks all over Europe, judge all sorts of awards and Tweet and blog a lot. I have a thing for eCRM, because it makes perfect marketing sense and because it's recession-proof, and I'm very glad to have a team that clients love working with.
Karim,
Developer
Karim, we miss you. Stop doing our stuff from Canada and silently code perfection here again!
Ruth,
Head of SEO and viral campaigns
Way back in the day (well, 1996), Ruth started the UK's very first online PR agency. She launched NSPCC's Full Stop Campaign online, has run acquisition campaigns, viral campaigns, competitions and sales promotions for Unilever, Greenpeace, Snickers and New Media Age. Ruth hasn't stopped creating brilliantly successful acquisition campaigns like the Logitech campaign that generated £5m in direct sales. She loves horses (knows which way a snaffle bit goes and everything) and has orange dreadlocks.
Emma,
Client Services Director
Emma first worked with Jason and Felix between 1998 and 2001, running Unilever, Weetabix, Tesco and Vauxhall's accounts. She then went around the world and started a family before we managed to get her back and since then Emma's added to the agency's cute kid count and built a great client services team. Emma's involved with all our clients, making sure we have relationships that last a very, very long time.
Aneta,
Digital Creative
Aneta loves motorbikes, decorates the office on feast days (like Hallowe'en), and comes up with many of the lovely images and photographs you see in the Underwired Twitter feed. Aneta also has a photographic memory!
Jody,
Planner
Jody works on many of our key eCRM clients. She commutes in from the country, and is generally in earlier than most so she can get home at a reasonable hour and ride horses. (Hello, I'm your copywriter. I've noticed we seem to have a lot of people working here who know one end of a horse from the other. And quite a few with French degrees.)
Natalie,
Account Exec
Natalie is the shortest and the youngest member of the Underwired team...awwww! : ) Her biggest achievement to date was completing the Inca Trail and reaching Machu Picchu in March, which involved not washing her hair for 5 days. If you asked any of Natalie's friends about her they would say she has a huge tendency for getting herself into massively embarrassing situations... (psst, can we leave it that?!) Shot-gun Wonder Woman.
Pete,
Planning Director
Pete blows a trumpet, either jazz riffs in cool bars or the odd concerto in a concert hall. Pete uncovers those nuggets of insight to then craft a cunning plan, inspiring the creative idea and fashioning the strategy that we deliver for clients. Because he's been around forever, the agencies Pete has worked with are too long to list, but highlights include having been Head of Customer Insight at Saatchi & Saatchi.
Maureen
Maureen's bomb proof. You really really need Maureen when you're in a fix, when you need to know to the penny how much a project generated, or what the most cost-effective channel is. Calm and collected, that's our Maureen.
Stuart,
Developer
Stuart is new to the Underwired family - a new front end developer who has many talents, including once scoring an amazing 255 in ten pin bowling!
